WebDVR "Create Display Failed"

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

Maybe someone could point me in the right direction because the company who installed equipment seems to be clueless...

We just had cameras installed in our office. We can look at them over local network, but one of the computers (my manager's computer) gives me a message "WebDVR. Create Display Failed" and when you click OK, another one "Windows Internet Explorer. Connection is failed." The computer in question has no other connectivity problems: it connects to internet, our domain and other computers without any problems. I can see cameras from any other computer in the office- all I have to do is go to 192.168.254.71 in the Internet Explorer and type in user name, password and port 12000, and it goes. I already tried everything I can think of- disabled firewall on that computer, installed K-lite codek, reset internet explorer to it's original settings, but nothing helps. By the way, we use Digital Watchdog DW-716N equipment.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

My uncle used to have this problem, different hardware but same problem. What his problem was is the graphics driver. Just get the latest or in my uncles case install one and not use the standard one that windows xp provides if you dont have one of your own. Hope it helps!
