Any data over mains is done using equipment/adapters designed specifically for that purpose.

It has to be specifically designed to make sure the mains is not transferred into any of the equipment or it could catch fire/kill you or others.

Under no circumstances should anyone ever try connecting any camera/balun or any other data / signal to the mains unless you are using equipment specifically designed and marketed for that purpose.

As it wont work, and it could kill if you try to wire up normal signals to the mains wiring.

We would need more info on what products they are using. I can only speak for USA style setups, but you can do a search engine to see what comes up for your area.

Depending on what this company has going it could be an IP camera that is wired to a plug in device that provides the internet over power line. There are two devices. You will have a start point, and an end point, or several end points.

The start point is connected to your modem, or router, and the end point is connected to your computer, game system, or cctv devices.

You can use an IP camera, or a DVR that has internet capability. The IP camera, or the DVR plugs in to the end point device with an ethernet cable.

Technically you can inject the internet in to the whole power grid, and each house can get the internet from the powerline using powerline adapters.

I do not have anything for 240 Volt mains.

I do have products that use the USA 110 volt mains. This can be an AM/FM radio, air purifier, ect with covert cams inside. This is great for LE takedowns where you have a short amount of time to install surveillance.

Just Checked such Powerline line Ethernet Adopter manufactured by PowerMax Technologies LLC JADOO-85-W model ( must be some china product)

with AXIS Camera,

Worked fine. Mains here is 230 V

but I m not sure if same performace will be achived if multiple units connected,

here also negligible delay was occured.
