I need an adapter to go from a male bnc connector to a female din type s-video input. Struggling to fing one in UK. Can anyome point me i the right direction? Soundy 1 Posted January 22, 2009 Chances are that that isn't s-video, but a proprietary connector that both feeds the camera power, and returns the video. A simple adapter likely won't work, because the pins used for power and video will vary with the specific design. The DIN connectors themselves should be available from any electronics-supply house, but for an adapter, you'll probably have to determine the pinouts used by that specific device and custom-wire it. david248005 0 Posted January 22, 2009 Thanks for reply. I think you are quite right as I know the cable is carrying power and video. Someomne else has modified one of the other wires but it is a complicated looking set up! I'll just have to try and join various combinations of wires and see what happens!
