Sawbones 0 Posted January 22, 2009 I'd like to know the answer to this as well... and you'd have to hope it would interoperate with NVR software as well as the Axis unit.

Getting it supported by the NVR software is the easy part. I will call my guy at Axis and see if they have anything in the works.
amirm 0 Posted February 12, 2009 Just found this product: http://www.microseven.com/hrctech/front/productdetail.asp?productid=13 No experience with it thought but says it supports four channels and H.264. But seems to record on its own hard disk though.

Michelangelo 0 Posted February 13, 2009 Never heard of this brand before but it claims to do what you need: http://www.storesonline.com/site/897581/product/NOVO1-4 Not sure who supports it though.
thewireguys 3 Posted February 13, 2009 Getting support with NVR software will be the main problem

vtphilk 0 Posted February 15, 2009 Del Welp..I can't post links..but there is a DVR-2644S 4-channel which I'm thinking about trying out for home. It supports SATA drives and monitor output so might be a little better than the microseven. However, the microseven looks good as well and I have had great luck with there IP cameras but have not tried the DVR.

I have been running it onboard on a camera for about a month and no problems. Other than, documentation is a bit scetchy and would like better APIs to interface with it like Axis has..but oh well.for the price can't beat it!
thewireguys 3 Posted April 2, 2009 Axis is coming out with a 4 channel h264 encoder Q4704 in the 2nd Q hoping the price will be around $800.
