AV760-M

Recommended Posts

I have 2 units, For 2 years the AV760 is in my business. My second unit is home, and wanted to connect to the internet. I can view everything via local netwok within my home ( 192.168.1.10 ) Port 8013 - I am having a problem to remote view from my office. I checked the router Porting of: 8000 to 8020 range. I have matched almost all the settings from my office router to mathch the home, but with no luck. Reason for port 8013 - My local Cable Internet Provided BLOCKS PORT 80 Usage. I am at a loss, hope something simple, or the router settings are wrong ???

Lets see if this manual will walk you through the setup procedure.

I would just use the specific port rather than a range of ports.

What kind of router do you have?

Pick your router from here:

Use Gadspot IP camera as this is close to an AVTech DVR.

Thank you, purchased the recommended program for programming my router for proper porting. That did not work... I am using a LINKSYS BEF1154S4-V3, Used a D-Link WBR-1310 and Would Not See the DVR

or 192.168.1.10 - No Access ! - But The Linksys works fine... I can log onto locally, but not via internet. Are there any special settings within the AV-760 it's self ??

Thanks, The Internet IP is: 69.112.47.171, and port 8013

Using the lan @ 192.168.1.10 That works.

Router is set for porting 8013 using 192.168.1.10

I know that my local IP provider BLOCKS Port 80 Usage.

Hello, The DVR IP: 69.112.40.210 The other IP was my computer trying to access the DVR, and you could not get a ping, it's active and ran IPCHICKEN to verify, and stands correct with the IP. I have two computers side by side, one with the AV-760M - Both systems have their own IP's & Modems - I have been trying for days to try to access the DVR for remote viewing, possible router settings or maybe the DVR ? I purchased the program you recommended, and that did nothing. I am at a

loss here....

An improper gateway IP value would do exactly that: available via LAN but not thru the internet.

Check that your DVR's gateway IP is the LAN IP of your router, in your case, 192.168.1.1.
