thewireguys 3 Posted February 3, 2009 Has anyone used there stuff? I have a 25 unit apartment building that I need to quote a telephone entry system. I would like a system that uses the computernetwork to program instead of a modem. Any ideas? Thanks
Sir Flannel 0 Posted February 4, 2009 Used them on a limited basis, so programming was done at the keypad for me (only about three numbers to dial). I have had no problems with Door King that were not traced to tremendous bolts of lightning striking the area they were mounted near (in a manufacturing plant). According to Door King's websight, it now supports network connection. So, there ya go.
jeromephone 6 Posted February 8, 2009 I think viking electronics has some simple entry systems that use existing phone wiring to ring up the apt and then let the resident press a button on their regular old analog phone to let the visitor in. You might have to supply analog phones as many are going to all cell these days but you are only looking at 30 bucks or so.
