Peter Gee 0 Posted February 4, 2009 Hi Guys new to all this, I have been asked by my company to swap one of our CRT monitors (which appears to have a BNC connection ) to on of our standard PC flat screen monitors, so just need to ask a couple of possibly stupid questions: What signal does CCTV give out is it composite or component video? Can I just simply use a BNC to VGA converter to achieve this result? any help would be appreciated.
Ted 0 Posted February 4, 2009 Hi, The video signal is composite and it works fine with a bnc/vga converter to a simple computerdisplay.

firassh 0 Posted March 31, 2010 Make sure to choose good quality converter because conversion will definitely reduce the picture clearance
