ochrisl 0 Posted February 13, 2009 we have a customer who is still using vcrs in some locations. I am trying to use a video capture device to convert the video and save as video file to view on a PC. This works fine on DVRs and regular VCRs but its not working on time lapse VCR. i tested my setup on a dvr in my shop. used dazzle capture device, saved video as .mp4. Viewed with apple quicktime.Quicktime willlwt you print image when viewer is paused.worked great but will not work with time lapse vcr.im thinking the choppy picture screws with the capture device.Anyone done this?If so what are you using? The objective is to print out quality stills form VCR. Also having a video clip on PC.
Soundy 1 Posted February 13, 2009 Were these time-lapse units recording multiple cameras via a quad or multiplexor? If so, it will have to play back through the same (or same model) multiplexor to get the different streams "in sequence".
