Cat-Camera-Man 0 Posted February 17, 2009 I did some research on getting my PDA to connect to the GV-800 card. It stated that you need to click on the network button, check the webcam server and a window opens. This is server set up. Then you need to click on the Jpeg tab. Then check the "create Jpeg/Gif files" Then your PDA should connect. Well, the problem here is this is grayed out. You can not turn it on. Now what? R.T. ilkevinli 0 Posted February 17, 2009 You dont need that if you are using PDA Viewer (G-View). Is that what you are using ?

Also, if you have router You need to forward ports (8866,5511) on youre local ip adress to use pda view. And you will have live pic. best regards.

Cat-Camera-Man 0 Posted February 25, 2009 Wow! I never thought I would ask a question that would stump the very knowledgeable people on this site. I guess it can happen. . . . Thanks for the info received. R.T.
ilkevinli 0 Posted February 26, 2009 One of the options in the Geovision software that when enabled, disables the Mobile Tab. I don't remember off hand which option/setting it was. I do remeber reading it in the manual so you may want to read through the manual. Or you can set all of the settings back to default which would probably involve unintsalling / reinstalling. Good luck. Wow! I never thought I would ask a question that would stump the very knowledgeable people on this site. I guess it can happen. . . .Thanks for the info received. R.T. Cat-Camera-Man 0 Posted February 26, 2009 I came home and fired up the computer to state just what you found. I discovered that today. It is under the General tab. If "Enhance Network Security" is checked it turns off the place to check on the Mobile tab. Will be working on that tonight. Thanks for the post. It would have helped if I had not found it out this morning. R.T.
