cuc 0 Posted February 25, 2009 Hi, I have a CCTV at home and a standalone DVR connected to the internet. I am trying to access the DVR and CCTV images remotely via a MAC computer but failed. I have tried 2 choice: (1) Web based to remote client (2) PC Viewer D6 Series I am able to login using my password for both the above option but unable to view the picture. The screen showed my DVR activities but the screen on my MAC PC is blank / black. No image is showed. I had even tried it on VMware Fusion to simulate Window but failed. For your info, I am able to connect it remotely via a Window based PC. But not on a MAC based PC. (10.5.6) Can anyone help me out?
coolie11 0 Posted February 25, 2009 Your DVR remote access requires an ActiveX plugin that doesn't work on Mac. What DVR are you using?
securitymonster 0 Posted February 28, 2009 You can run windows on the mac and then it will work. I run parallels with a windows xp virtual machine, works great!
