GeoVision Remote Internet Viewing

Recommended Posts

Hi. I'm using v8.2 of Geovision. I connect remotely to the server via Internet explorer, and using a netbook running XP. Unfortunately, the max resolution on my netbook is 1024X600, but remote MultiView (allowing me to view multiple cams simultaenously) will not work at anything less that 1024*768.

Therefore, since I'm stuck with viewing one cam at a time, is there a way to set it so that it shows each different cam on a rotating basis (cam1 for 2 seconds, then cam2 for 2 seconds, then cam3 for 2 seconds...etc)?

By the way, does this resolution restriction also apply when viewing remotely using GeoVision's own standard RemoteView application?

Thanks,

Try this ... Control panel > Display settings > Advanced > Monitor > Uncheck box " Hide modes that this monitor cannot display".

Note the warning , but don't put it any higher than 1024x768

Hi. That works, but I don't like the warning message that might damage the hardware of my brand new netbook.

I would be equally as happy if I could just scan through all the cameras, (one at a time, for a few seconds at a time). Anybody know if this is possible?
