dean 0 Posted March 7, 2009 anybody have a suggestion on how to troubleshoot this scenario? Problem: a sixteen channel dvr with all ports giving perfect picture accept one this image is multiplexing back and forth inbetween images a green screen and collored lines. Layout of installation from head in to device one cat5 to a quadrant at the quadrant a gel splice for each pair going from that splice to the device.than a balun and the camera at the headin above the cieling a box with all the video baluns connected to a coaxial cable going from the box to the dvr port where does one begin? C7 in CA 0 Posted March 8, 2009 I would systematically swap inputs around at the DVR and the quadrant to see if the problem stays at a specific port on the DRV or quadrant. If the problem moves with the port swaps I would try the camera directly connected to the DVR. If the camera is ok I would start swapping out baluns and re-terminating connectors until I found the problem. If the problem persists I would look at the cables.
