Arockerdude 0 Posted March 10, 2009 Hi all everything worked fine back home. I was able to view my cameras on my laptop at home but now when I get to the hotel I cannot check on my dog back at home. Do the hotels block out the camera connection? Anyone ever had this problem from hotels? Im in San Diego CA and there are other open wireless connections but they don't seem to work with the cameras either. The Internet is working ok. A little slow but it is working. Soundy 1 Posted April 16, 2009 Have you ever been able to connect to your cameras from outside your home? When you're using your laptop AT home, it's generally connecting on your LAN and isn't affected by the router's firewall... when you want to connect from outside your home, you need to configure your router to pass on the appropriate port(s) to your DVR.
