I plug into monitor it says no sygnal and if I then plug into spot I have a picture, I just cant seem to get it running plugged into monitor. C7 in CA 0 Posted March 14, 2009 Do you know the make and model of the DVR? Are you using all the same connectors and cables when you switch from monitor to spot? Do you have network access to the DVR? Might be able to find some obscure monitor setting that got tripped up on the power cycle... Have you tried power cycling the unit again? dibble55 0 Posted March 15, 2009 thanks for reply scott. I have all paperwork for tis machine but no name on anything unless jpeg2000 stand alone means anything. I am using same wire and connector from monitor to spot I just unplug from monitor and plug into spot. I have never set it up to network so I have no access. cant see any switches to switch from monitor to spot if you mean unplug and replug for power cycle then yes I have done this several times. again thanks for reply. C7 in CA 0 Posted March 15, 2009 Do you have the manual? I would try setting up network access so I could check for any weird monitor setting. I don't really think it's that, but I would want to check. I'm not saying you made any changes, but I see odd things happen sometimes when equipment like this gets moved around. You can try defaulting the machine. That might be done through a software setting, or there might be a jumper or reset switch that would need to be moved/pressed inside the case. If you don't have the manual maybe you can post a picture. Someone here has probably seen one, or even worked with a similar unit in the past. The problem sounds like it could be serious, but I wouldn't give up yet.
