DVR - Remote View Signal Drop

Hi,

 

I have a problem with remote view of DVR, actually it is more of network related

 

Here is my setup

 

I have connected 4CH AVTECH DVR (761AS) to Linksys WRT54G2 (ADSL Modem with wireless router) -- There is no PC connected to the router

 

The Modem and DVR is ON all the time ( 24/7) for remote viewing

 

The problem

 

In the site Internet signal drops frequently

 

Remote View works perfectly until the Internet signal drops and when the Internet signal is back we can not do remote viewing unless we power off and On the Modem and DVR

 

I guess the problem is more of modem related, has anyone faced a similar problem ? what are the solutions

 

any suggestions to solve the problem is highly appreciated
