JoannaSerah 0 Posted March 24, 2009 Some of the alarm systems my company has to have put in our stores, the local technician has to be licensed in that particular state. Are there any requirements/laws/ordinances that you know of that relate to having to have an electrician or licensed/certified tech install Surveillance systems. I know it may not be a legal requirement, but a liability-related issue. Any information would be appreciated. We were trying to see if installing it ourselves would be ok or if we actually had to get a company to install the equipment for us. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
sviviani 0 Posted March 24, 2009 not sure what state you are in, but it is always good to get someone with a state contractors license who is bonded and insured, you could do it yourself but a good contractor will warenty the work and usually train you on how to use it.
