wineandfood 0 Posted April 3, 2009 Hello, I own a restaurant and in and around our 2 buildings we have 8 analog cameras installed by Stanley Security (formally Honeywell). We have a multiplexer and a video tape system where we have to change the tapes every 24 hours. Stanley has just proposed a HRSD16 500GB DVR for $149/month for for 60 months. This is $9,000. over the life of the DVR. Does anyone have an opinion about this AND is the latest and greatest technology? If I'm spending $9,000 for a DVR -installed and I have to keep it for 5 years +, I just want to make sure I'm buying the best. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
