Magicone 0 Posted April 8, 2009 How can I view an IP Camera on all of my TVs in my house. I see something that is called a Modulator. Will that work. Do they have a modulator that has a Cat5 connection to access the IP Camera on the network. If there is such a thing can you recommend a product to do this. CCTVguru1 0 Posted April 9, 2009 you need to decode it in some way. A PC input on the TV would be one way and have a PC running. My product - IndigoVision has a receiver module that will decode back to composite video.
gsscctv 0 Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) Your intention will downgrade video quality but if your IP system is running on PC with a COMBO or Hybrid card, you would use the yellow TV output. Adding Multi-quad card is the best solution I believe. However, if your TV has computer connector you may use a Loop Through card. This's a strange and maybe expensive desire. Why would you need to chage input on your TV while watching TV shows? Edited April 16, 2009 by Guest
VST_Man 1 Posted April 11, 2009 some put a PC at the tv so they can do things on the PC via the tv screen. That makes sense to me.......... decoding a IP camera to view it on TV is expensive and is a single use type thing. A PC like mentioned above allows for you to use it for more. ALL NVR manufactures have the same problem.....no IP cams via video output unless a added card is purchased.
