cmarin 0 Posted April 10, 2009 I have a 12v IR camera about 150 distance from the dvr- it is outdoors and at times the image is completely white like a white page- sometimes with traces of images but all white, this happens once a day- sometimes goes back to normal- sometimes it does until next day- what could this be? please advise,
vin2install 0 Posted April 10, 2009 Maybe you got it pointing to the sun.
zmxtech 0 Posted April 10, 2009 I have seen this in many of the cheap IR bullets and domes from China, I think the AS [shutter] is failing and it thinks its night time slowing the shutter causing white out.
cmarin 0 Posted April 11, 2009 The sun points directly to it in the morning- but it does this at different times- I dont know if its a chinesee camera, it was not cheap- bought from an Ohio cctv store....
RickA 0 Posted April 11, 2009 What distance are your power runs for the camera, you may be trying to run with a voltage drop on a 12 vdc camera.
LEARNINGCCTV 0 Posted May 1, 2009 I believe the shuttter is failing.
