How to run IP camera on 220m distance?

Recommended Posts

Guys,

Are there any devices than can help me? Any kind of injectors which will push signal more than limited CAT5/CAT6 100 metres? I`m thinking of three Veracity LAN extender. Any other devices?

That is a good unit that has worked well for us for cameras and phones.

But will it work if my camera is not POE? Its ACTi ACM-4200.

Yes, if you are not using a POE switch then you will install the Verasity "OUTSOURCE" device prior to the Verasity "OUTREACH" Device.

If you are using CAT6 you should be able to get the 220M distance with 2x Outreach devices, installed at 110M intervals.

Just one OUTSOURCE or before every OUTREACH there needs to be OUTSOURCE?

i think we have two options:Wireless Bridge, or fiber-optic

Compare 2 x 79$ wireless cost or running fiber on 220m..... I think you know what cheaper
