ThomasYancey 0 Posted April 17, 2009 (edited) I gave up and rolled back to 8.2 but had to reinstall from 8.1 to get 8.2 to work. I will wait until the bugs are gone from 8.3.... I was running Geovision ver 8.2 without any problems and upgraded to 8.3, and the monitor with anything other than 1 channel viewing is invalid. When I chose 4,6,8,etc channel mode, I do not get the appropriate video feeds from my installed cameras. See Image. Do I need to update the firmware of my GV-1480 Combo Card? And if so, how do I do that? I have attached a image of what my screen looks like when I chose 4 channel viewing, but as you can see, the imaging is all wrong. And there is an image on the upper left that should not be seen. I have uninstalled both the program and driver and erased the 1480 Directory and reinstalled the V8.3 at least 4 times, and still get the same problem. The V8.3 Program looks different from the earlier version, and when I start up the V8.3, it still looks like the old program. ? I followed the uninstall procedure as described below by brankorackovic, twice, and still no solution. Same problem still exists. Does anyone know where I can get a full install CD/DVD? I was thinking I might have to remove all folders and reinstall everything new. Also, when I run the Version Detection Tool, it fails because it cannot find the GVSeries.dll and recommends that I reinstall V8.3 again. Did that two more times, same problems, still same video problem(s) and still unable to locate the GVSeries.dll. I am beginning to think it may have something to do with the ? drivers. When I open the program, at startup, I get this, and when I switch to 1 channel mode and then back, the multi-color flickering goes away, but the video channel video feeds are not where they are supposed to be. Also, the appearance of the monitor program is again not what V8.3 should look like, note the command buttons at the bottom.[/b] Edited April 18, 2009 by Guest

brankorackovic 0 Posted April 18, 2009 I install 8.3 without problems. You need first to uninstall 8.2, then restart pc. After that go to the folder where 8.2 was install and delete it. Afther that run setup driver and uninstall old driver. when apear that old driver uninstall start with instal 8.3 driver and software.
