BackLight issues

I have an Acti 4201 camera that is constantly trying to fix itself as i have a lot of windows in the shot.. so everytime a person walks in shot it "corrects" itself It's hooked up to an Avermedia NV5000 software.

 

What is the best way to deal with bright windows? and backlight?

maybe put the settings to fixed exposure etc if its inside

Take off the DC iris lense - go with a fixed lense so you can close the iris down a little.

 

Don't they have a BLC mode?

No BLC with Acti...... Try Arecont

Use Panasonic SD3 or Bosch Dinion BLC.
