soundman98 0 Posted May 18, 2009 imo, a access control system would do a much better job than any camera system, but it is possible. I have specifically worked w/ the 5000 series cards, and there is a small amount of delay-- ie. you need to hold the button down for at least 1-2 sec. for the system to recognize the event and respond. depending on what the customer wants, I can deffinatly see where this could be an issue for turning on a light, or opening a door.
