avc792 password forgot how can I get a new one

I forgot my password i have avc792 please help

I haven't seen your version, but most AVTech DVR's will have a jumper on the motherboard labeled something like "sys-reset". Unplug the system, short out the jumper pins and then power it on and remove the short. This will default the entire unit back to factory defaults.

 

There might be 2 admin passwords, one for the front panel and another for network access. If you didn't change both you might be able to get in that way with the default password.

my dvr dont have those pins I take of the battery but dont work it just reset the date and hour

 

MY dvr is avt792z and its the new versions of the h264

any body else now some about these box?

I was able to reset it following the pdf file you gave me and now it works quite good.
