Ghost Hunting System

Newbie here looking to setup a system.

 

Will be using mostly at night for ghost hunting/paranormal activities.

I know some groups have a all in one system (Like Lorex) with 4 infared cameras where they can watch all 4 cameras at once and record all 4.

 

I'd like to do the same thing but using a laptop instead.

 

Do the usb devices found on eBay work for capturing all 4 cameras at once and recording?

I'd like to view all 4 cameras on the screen at once and record all 4 for review later.

 

If I get 50-100 ft of BNC cable and hook up an a converter to rca will that be sufficient? Or should I just buy an rca cable?

 

Also what software is recommended? Say the top 3-5?

 

Initially I plan to purchase just one camera and upgrade to get the other 3 as finances permit.

The problem as I see it is this. With those cheapo's you WILL capture ghosts. But it most likely will be because of the camera quality and not a spirit per se.

 

I mean do ghosts actually reflect light anyways? Are you teaming these up with non-contact IR temperature sensing? FLIR may be a better choice?

 

I have no clue what physical properties to apply to a spirit...... How do you?
