I have recently bought a honeywell ptz dome camera and wondering how i go about testing it? is there a way I can quickly test it without a controller and DVR? I have a usb dvr in my pc which is working therefore I would be able to show the picture with BNC connection many thanks in advance Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Eddiekr03 0 Posted May 21, 2009 Hey, you can hook the video connection to your DVR, and put power to it. That will let you know that the camera is getting video and power, you can also make sure the unit goes through the original start up when you power it on it should pan and tilt. But the only way to really make sure that you can control it with a remote or DVR is to hook it up as far as i know. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
