phoenixr1 0 Posted May 18, 2009 I've got a few Spectra bearing assemblies that could be a little smoother than they are. Would a little bit of oil or WD-40 hurt?
survtech 0 Posted May 18, 2009 I assume they are ball bearings? I've found that 80W90 gear oil (like rear end oil) works pretty well on them. I wouldn't use a much thinner oil than that.
phoenixr1 0 Posted May 19, 2009 Yeah they're ball bearings. I've got a PTZ that pans constantly and I recently rebuilt it with spare bearing assemblies I had because the existing ones were wearing out, but even the new ones are not as smooth as I want them to be, that's why I asked.
