robert 0 Posted May 18, 2009 Yes, Raymax/Raytec - but price tag.... Anybody can suggest something cheaper and good quality? What brands? No Chinese stuff please.
sviviani 0 Posted May 18, 2009 just used some Vitek VT-IR1 and IR2, seem to be good quality and not too expensive, just open them up and hardwire the power, don't use the plug in my opinion, especially for outside.

zmxtech 0 Posted May 20, 2009 they might be cheaper but yuk ! they stand out, not black, and don't fit snug against the wall. Very limited options in freq's and spreads. some others you might like to try > http://www.microlightcctv.com/equipment/c/263/ http://www.axtontech.com/products.html I would go for raymax for sure! z

I would never install these in a house or office environment, but industrial is another story.
Draenor 0 Posted July 29, 2009 Yes, the Viteks stand out, but a little bit of sanding, some good spraypaint, and the can blend in. I have 2 being used for over a year now with no problems.
hardwired 0 Posted July 30, 2009 I've used the identical model in 24 volt from Speco (IR20024) for a year or so now, with no problems. It's a little cheaper from them, too (usually under $150 or so). Ugly, but functional.
Biphase 0 Posted August 15, 2009 Bosch aka Extreme UFLED. All depends on what you want to see distance wise, hortizontal/vertical...let me know. I have tested alot of the name brands and because of their black diamond filter - it diffuses the IR to the picture. No banding or dark spots on the edges like others.
