Still have questions post reading forum for past 5+ weeks

To all:

 

I am trying to put together a security system for my residence and have few questions.

 

I understand from reading here that Swann-QSee and the likes will do no good. So from reading I started to collect what may work as a good system. I have about 500+Watts of lights in the backyard where two cameras will be mounted on eaves on both side of the house. 200Watts are always on others are motion detected. the farthest the camera will need to see is 80-100 feet.

 

After getting an understanding on what I should look for I think these things together may make a great system:

 

DVR - ICRealtime MAX4 - many have suggested this so I went with this.

Cameras - I understand that I must get varifocal lens and good day/night camera with auto white balance and auto-iris, this is what I found from this forum.

Panasonic WV-CP284 or WV-CW484

ICRealtime EL-450

Sanyo - VDC-D1584VA1

 

Now considering this setup what is the price I should be looking to pay for these units? I don't trust internet prices and know that quite a few of you are active professional installers so I am trying to reach out to you to get an understanding of what I am looking at. Still doing research for prices I found prices that were all over. I will drop in prices that I found so you can comment on that

 

DVR - 450

Camera

CP284 - 150+40lens and power

CW484 - 600

EL-450 - 250

Sanyo - 200

 

Cables are not included and power supply is extra on almost all. Is the pricing falling in the range or too high/low? Please comment as at this rate I am looking at cost adding up to close to 2G, before I drop such a figure I want the professionals here to comment - hopefully you won't flame at my questions. Rather than piece-meal the system I would like it from one source, if possible

 

Also how does the pricing for installation go - (outdoor 4 cameras) My attic is very accessible and is a walk thru attic, I can see the eaves from inside if I try to reach to the end of the roof. So putting a box or whatever is required to mount a camera is fairly easy.
