UAF 0 Posted May 29, 2009 Looking for some input on how to wire up an on/off switch for recording. The camera in question is an Axis 216fd. I am familiar enough with the camera, I have however never done anything with the alarm functions. It is my understanding that this is possible but under the event configuration in the on board axis software there is no "record" action when an alarm is triggered. I was also wondering about the digital input terminal (input 3). I attempted to make a switch using the 3.3vdc from terminal #2 and ground from terminal #1 and supplying that input into the digital terminal #3. This however did nothing except turn my camera off. (I assumed as a fault protection of some sort). I'm stupid and can't make this work. Please show me the way. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
