aalbert 0 Posted June 19, 2009 As I noted in other posts, our company is switching from outsourcing our clients CCTV needs, to handling it internally. I am now looking at our mid range options, and am interested in the Bosch Divar XF. Since we use Crestron control systems, in many of our client installations, I am interested in their CLI and SDK integration. Their CLI, from the sales description at least, sounds right up the Crestron alley, if it will give us the ability to switch camera outs, and manage playback of recorded materials. Has anybody here used the CLI or SDK from Bosch... Also looking in the manual I see a port labeled "Ext IR" which I assume means it can take an external IR remote --- but I can find no mention of this in their documentation or on the web. Anyway, any info on the integration potential of this DVR would be appreciated. Regards, Andy (CCNA, MCSE, Crestron)
woerdeka@hotmail.com 0 Posted June 21, 2009 Hi Andy, The ext-ir port on Divar-XF is non functional. An IR remote control has never been provided with DivarXF. As for the CLIs - I suggest you contact Bosch technical support. They can provide you with the complete CLI specification. But do you have any detailes questions? aalbert 0 Posted June 21, 2009 Antoine, Thanks for the response... To keep it brief, I needed to see if commands such as the following could be issued via the CLI. Route a camera output (i.e. camera #3) to one of the video outputs? Initate Play, Stop, Pause, Rewind commands of content that is being reviewed? When reviewing content, send a time code to the Divar, to go to a particular time? And finally, from the CLI is it possible to query for things like timestamp info? Thank you, Andy
