Neutral Density Filters for focusing

Recommended Posts

I am wanting to buy a Dusk or Twilight style Neutral density filter to place over the lens of a CCTV camera for focusing. I do not want to use a Welder's glass.

Could you recommend an ND filter in f - stops that would represent this type of filter for this purpose?

Why not, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than an ND filter and works just as well.

Day/Night or IR lens does not require filter.

otherwise just focus in low light then no need for filter.
