diasmelvyn 0 Posted July 10, 2009 i have a AVTECH 761 dvr . when there is a power loss , the date changes to jan 2001 and time starts from 0 hours. this date remains so till next reboot due to power loss and changes again. what is the solution. also let me know if there is abattery like cmos battery. scorpion 0 Posted July 12, 2009 If your DVR does not keep the date, and the time then you may need to replace the battery on the bottom of the main board. The battery is a MS621FE battery. sjain2411 0 Posted July 9, 2013 Hi Scorpion, I also have 761AS, but could not see any battery on system board. It loses time/date since I purchased 4 years ago. Can you point me to the location on board where battery needs to be soldered. BTW to my earlier post on DVR reboot while accessing HDD, it is resolved after resetting DVR to factory default using reset jumber and changing SATA data cable.
