I am pretty sure this is due to a dead MS621FE battery, as found via web search (thanks Scorpion!). Anyone know where I can get another battery ? Seems like nobody stocks it. I do have a battery backup on the DVR, but the people onsite keep unplugging it and it eventually dies out. I know that sounds stupid, but the cameras are at construction site, and the DVR is in a small case on the ground. it's a temporary setup for now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
metafizx 0 Posted July 30, 2009 the problem is this is a special rechargable lithium battery, not a common button cell. I might try a laptop CMOS backup battery, I found one that is rechargable 3.0v. if it works, I'll post the part. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
metafizx 0 Posted August 30, 2009 I got a battery for an IBM Thinkpad that I think works in this DVR. I could not find the exact replacement battery, but it has to be a rechargable 3v. Installed it and so far it seems to work, remembers the date / time after being unplugged. the part number is CMOS-VL2020-TP300/700 (IBM ThinkPad) if you google it you will find the vendor (microbattery) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mikee 0 Posted January 25, 2011 Hi I have an AVTecch AVC760, and on my Video Server E program which i use to view the cameras, the date & time do not change. I can change the date & time through the System Config, and it will update it on the Video Server window, but will just stay on the same time. This means i am having trouble with recording, as the recording events will be under the same time, so it isn't functioning properly. Can anyone help please?
