Going from Geo 7.02 to 8.3? Which Codec, etc?

Hi,

 

I finally took the plunge & got a GV800 card (legit) that has 8.3. I guess I can be sure my GV900 card wasnt real as this new one has Geo labels all over, a real box, real CD, etc.

 

Anyway, I notice there are new codecs & other goodies. I was curious if there are some basic "no brainers" in terms of obvious settings, that might not be so obvious to me.
