octalplug 0 Posted August 5, 2009 Hi There, I am looking for circuit details for the extrenal power supply that is used with the Avtech AVC777 DVR, or the various voltage requirements that need to be connected to the mini DIN socket on the back of the DVR unit. I assume it must at least require 5 and 12 volts plus ground. Cheers Octalplug

octalplug 0 Posted August 7, 2009 Hi Scorpion, thanks for the power supply info, I am relieved that there is only 2 power rails 5 and 12 volts +ve plus ground. I will also need to replace the hard drive, would I be right in thinking that an IDE 40gig unformatted drive would do the job ? scorpion 0 Posted August 8, 2009 An 80 GB would be the recommended size. This would give you about 4 days of recording. Motion may spread that out some. I am glad that I could be of service, and help you with the power supply info!
