telemetry up the coax

Recommended Posts

Can any one help?

I have a site that has telemetry up the coax. I need to change this to an IP based system using Axis IP streamers.

Does anyone know of a device that will take the telemetry output from the Axis streamer and convert to up the coax?

I believe there is a unit Coaxitron Translator? Has anyone got any experience with this?

Cameras installed are VCL orbital Domes

Thanks

Paul

If you're going IP, all the signal, control, telemetry, etc. should be carried by the network... if you want to re-use the existing coax for that, you can use Veracity HighWire ethernet-over-coax converters. Just put one at each end of the coax and plug your network cables into those.
