What does this Geovision icon mean?

During playback of video on a new install of version 8.301 this icon appears in the lower right of the video. I can't find it in the manual. What does it indicate?

Does your playback go funny when the icon is on?

 

Mine did, geo told me -

This is because of de-noise function which tries to reduce the noise and video quality in order to make the file size smaller. The icon at the bottom of the corner indicates that you have activated De-noise function.

 

 

To find it - go to System Configure and select the Camera Record Setting tab. Under Monitor Control section uncheck the Apply Advanced Codec Setting option.
