Well, the best thing that you can do is post what you want to know about the cards, and I can answer them for you, as the Authorized Distributor for I-View. The first thing about I-view is that they make their own software/hardware. By doing this, you can expect a much more reliable product than most out there, including GEOVISION, who OEM'S their hardware to different factories, which is why a lot of post regarding their products are for problem users are having. The software is real simple to use, yet a powerful solution for anyone looking for a reasonable priced product. One nice feature is their 4 Channel, 120fps card, which you can stack up to 4 of them for a total of 16 Channels, 480FPS in one system, thus giving you the option to add on as you need them, without loosing frame rate in both viewing and recording. The system uses either Wavelet, or MPEG4 compression, which you choose, and resolutions up to 720X480. The remote software comes in two different ways, one is the web browser feature, which downloads a ActiveX component into the remote PC, and gives you the capability to connect to different sites, plus to view a stream of the cameras remotely. The other is by using the "freeview pro" software. With this software, you are able not only to view the live video, but also to review recorded video, and download them to the remote PC. You also are able to connect up to 16 different sites at one time, and view them all together, up to 25 screens at a time. qman 0 Posted March 14, 2005 The Freeview has the capability of managing the server remotely, like a "pc anywhere", which will save you a lot on onsite calls, plus it has a feature where you can connect to different sites at the same time. ONe notable thing is that you can set user names and passwords for different situations, example, the owner can do everything with the system, while the manager can see and review videos, but cannot delete them, or turn any cameras off, while the regular user can only VIEW the cameras.
