Intel Atom/Small Form Factor

Has anyone built a system using the Atom processors that are being used more in ITX and mini form factor models?

I have not built one, but I can probably guess that it would not work that well. Those things are mediocre at best for just surfing the internet (Windows OS) Now if you could get a Linux viewer and put Ubuntu or Net-Linux on it, it just might be doable. However, like I said I'm not sure

Well if your gonna get a tower, why bother with the Atom at all? I would go with an Intel Core 2 in that setup. I was thinking you were looking at something with a very small form factor or even a netbook.

I don't want to build a full tower. My only point of adding the link was to show that the system had a atom processor. I was using MSI Hetis chassis before but they've been discontinued. I need to find a replacement but I'm only finding "mini book" type systems. I used to use Shuttle barebone systems but prefer the shorter units that look plainer.
