Integratek 0 Posted August 20, 2009 Hello all I have a customer who owns an orangery which is constantly vandalized by some unfriendly neighbours. Due to few reasons it's too expencive and inefficient to surround it by a fence, so what he's willing to do is install some early warning system which might allow him to be informed at early stages of breach - before alarm system inside offices goes off - to get there in person with his family and/or police So what I was thinking is that to get a Magic Radar or Geovision PC card with IO board, connect some motion sensors to it, maybe a relay to turn on lights there, maybe install one or two IR PTZ's to locate villain's location, etc etc. The question is whether Magic Radar or Geovision (or any other brand) has some advanced scripting abilities for IO channels. E.g. if motion detected on sensor #1 send SMS (or call mobile phone); aim PTZ at motion area; after 5 minutes turn on lights

thewireguys 3 Posted August 21, 2009 You could try something like this. It's completely wireless so you could move the devices where ever you needed the protection. http://www.tattletalealarm.com/systems/index.php
Integratek 0 Posted August 21, 2009 How long is the potential/likely breach distance? Best, Christopher the orangery is 40 meters by 15 meters breach area is about 20-50 meters from orangery half surrounding it. Total perimeter lenght is probably 150-200 meters
