nclndr 0 Posted September 11, 2009 I have wave-p running on my pc based DVR system and it is working fine. I am able to do remote monitoring on one PC running IE. But on another PC I'm getting "Wave Out Open Failed". Any ideas what might be causing this error? thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ctsk8r 0 Posted September 11, 2009 I have a BL-1408 and can remote view the card over IE with my Acer Aspire One little 8.9 inch screen and my Dell at work. My other 2 PCs in my house will not view it as I get a similar message. I think it says Device Create Failed or something. I assume it is because the video graphics cards are older or that they are AMD machines and the Acer and work machines are Intel CPUs and it is a compatibility issue. Not a big deal for me. I have 2 installled and 8 cameras so far. Other than a Windows Defender issue (I removed it because it conflicts) I am very happy with it's features for the price!
