scorpion 0 Posted September 19, 2009 Here are some video shots of a low rider getting caught on a speed bump camera (ICREALTIME). What do you think this guy is going to think when his insurance company gets the bill? Click on this you tube video first, and then watch the videos with the background music!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iffDvXTcm8 Over view camera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTmi6C8ACnA Bump View http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYJVlmxF5UE On the bump camera, watch as he pull the lag bolts out of the ground, and the video camera changes the angles. The HOA President, and I had to take up a bump camera for maitenance issues, and with the epoxy we had to use a long blade on the sawsall to get it off the ground, and we still had to struggle! The truck yanked it out in one second flat! OUCH!

scorpion 0 Posted September 24, 2009 Who ever messed with the camera never pushed it up to the glass inside the enclosure. Looks like it needs some serious cleaning!
survtech 0 Posted September 24, 2009 What do you think this guy is going to think when his insurance company gets the bill? Why would he? The camera appears to stick up higher than the speed bump since he didn't hang up on that. No offense but if I were his insurance company's claims adjuster, I would deny any liability. scorpion 0 Posted September 24, 2009 The camera is about an inch off the ground, and the bump is about is about 3 inches high, but not over 4 inches. The bump is not very big at all. I am suprised that it got hung up. Here are some pics http://scorpiontheater.com/speedbumpcamera.aspx You can see it is about the same size as a Dewalt Drill on it side. I have to agree. It's not like he did anything special to have it break, he just drove over it really slow...
scorpion 0 Posted September 28, 2009 Thank goodness he does not have the front the same as the rear otherwise, there would be quarts of oil all over the road. What is the hazmat response for that? If it was a 3" concrete bump, then why do I feel like his attorney would be sueing for damages to the vehicle, and probably would win!
