zmxtech 0 Posted October 3, 2009 yep Rayled, [white LEDs nar to $$$$$ buy floods] get more power than you need, they have a variable power setting. I sell them and install them and are really happy so far ! I agree the Extreme gear is good also [EX12 is good but only for small jobs 10m or so] Remember IR is an art and you have to have the right camera,lens and shutter speed to get a good image. for example > I have a Rayled 50, sanyo DN VCC4594p camera and 50mm lens picking off people at 30 foot away in darkness. the focus is touchy but head and shoulder pics good enough to ID. >it took lots of fine tuning.
