blake 0 Posted October 24, 2009 What hammer type do you guys use to remove the little white nails that hold the aluminum soffit flashing up?I found that the claw on my regular hammer is to deep.I need a tighter shorter claw to remove those little nails. scorpion 0 Posted October 24, 2009 I cheat! I pull on the soffit flashing to pull the nail out a little. I use a secondary pair of dikes (diagnal cutters), and I pull them out with the dikes. ( I say secondary as my main has a perfect cutting edge).
Soundy 1 Posted October 24, 2009 Scorpion's got the right idea. Or you can get a specialized nail-pulling tool - they come in a number of styles, including some low-profile styles for just this type of purpose.
scorpion 0 Posted October 24, 2009 I used to use an 18 pound sledge but the customers used yell at me for some reason!

A few tools that work wonders. Diagonal wire cutters (dikes, not to be confused with lesbians), nail nipper, cat's paw, and wonder bar. That covers a lot of ground.
