what is this encoder/decoder pair for analog cameras?

I trying to run a camera over 1.6km. someone please shed some light on this please

Acti makes a set that should work for you.

 

ACD-3100 decoder

 

ACD-2100 encoder

 

Alot of manufactures make them (Axis, Bosch, Vivotek) but the key is you have to use encoder/decoder from the same manufacture. Axis encoder will not work with a Vivotek decoder.

ashtech, there are a number of different options here... it really depends on what you're trying to do, what infrastructure you already have in place, and what you want to spend. For that distance, you could use fibre, or you could use an existing internet connection, or possibly active baluns.

I was assuming he had a network infrastructure setup and he wanted to encode and decode the analog video.
