Help! How to design CCTV System watching Drawings

Any one please tell me about the designing of CCTV system. I have AutoCAD drawings only and site is so far therefore cant visit there

I have the drawings...The cameras are to be mounted at area of cinema & auditorium type...if any one has the guide then send me

Put camera/-s where it/they will have the greatest viewing angle over the audience with least possible dead angles..cover entrances/exits...avoid running coax or cat cable parallel to mains power conduits...define the most optimum route toward DVR...provide power supply routes for main and backup power supply...etc.

I had a similar problem to solve. I had Visio drawings and no way to visit the site.

 

 

Finally, I designed the project using 3D CCTV design software from JVSG.

 

In order to do it you need to place your walls on the "site plan" so you get 3D mockup of the site. Then you can play with different camera params and locations till you are satisfied wtih the result.
