thewireguys 3 Posted November 13, 2009 According to Panasonic's web site the WVCL920A is a 120V camera. That camera can be used outside if you put it in a housing. Also if you want a low-voltage version you can go with the WV-CL924A it is 12/24volts which can also be installed in a housing and used outdoors. http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelList?storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&catGroupId=14458&surfModel=WV-CL920A Why did you select this camera? Do you need need super low light performance?
Slim3001 0 Posted November 13, 2009 Its a 220-240v one im looking at . Im looking at it because its cheap and its got a half inch CCD chip 1/2 and runs at 470 TV Lines (horizontal resolution) in colour mode, and 570 TVL in black & white mode. So I was under the impression that is was going to be a kick ass camera. With it running on house hold electric I dont fance putting it out side. I did look at the case but there ugly and stand out a lot. Maybe out back or the side but not the front
