Axis 215 - Removable IR Filter?

Hello all,

 

I am about to purchase the Axis 215 camera and in the spec it states "removable IR filter" . Does this mean the 215 has the ability to "see" IR light? I know the camera comes without IR lights but I do have standalone IR floodlights. It would be great if the camera could be assisted by my floodlights for nightime viewing.

You are correct, it has a IR cur filter that is removed at night to allow more light in. and yes IR floods will be great
