Regarding Location of stored recorded files !

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys ! i need your help, from one of mine bank account two cheques have been withdrawn illegally and i have lost around INR 40,000

The problem is tht bank have cctv installed but they don't have any technician to view the recorded video. The money was withdrawn from my account on 5th Nov. 2009, now the bank says if i could take out the recorded video of tht date from system, they will identify the person and will take action ! so i need help from someone who has knowledge regarding cctv software "Diginet Site" and "K- Remote Backup Site" and if they can help me step by step how to view recorded video of tht particualr date or the best way how to take out tht day recording from the hard disk.

The system has Windows XP installed on it and it has 250 GB hard disk on which i think the Diginet is storing video recordings, i tried a lot but couldn't find a way to view tht particualr day recording ! PLS HELP Me Guys !!!

Can they not contact the guy who installed the system for them? Looks like you need to act quick if they are overwriting their files every couple of weeks.

Can't you contact the software makers and figure it out for yourself.

If not, there is bound to be MANY individuals here who know how to solve your problem.

I'm sure the original poster can understand why some people may be a bit skeptical of his story.

I think it is the bank's way of saying that they do not believe you. I would have an attorney subpoena the footage. They will have to react on this.

Can you ghost the Diginet hard drive before the footage disapears?

You may find out that the bank does not have a working system.

Hmmmm?

250GB isn't a lot of storage space so if there are multiple cameras running at a reasonably high frame rate it would not surprise me if the recording is gone by now. My condolences for your monetary loss. Hopefully Indian banking laws will allow you to recover the money somehow.

So let me understand this. The Bank has a CCTV system and they want you to pull the recorded video from it, a customer. What country is this in?

I know most of u would react like this only on this issue but this is truth. The country is India and i think u can never even imagine how the work goes on here, so if u could help me. it would allow me to get my money back !

download snapshot from http://www.drivesnapshot.de/en/

image the DVR drive right away, put it on a removable drive and take that home so you can view the video, yes you can map and explore the image and therefore you will have time to figure out the digi playback.
